The plastic panel hiding the memory bay is commonly attached usually by a type of screw or system sliding lock.. The ram panel in a lot of cases can be difficult to locate so take your time and check any manual or documents you have access to.

You will now be able to check how many ram slots you have in your system as well as the current ram setup once you have access to the memory bay. With your new ram memory at proceed to install your chip into a freely available slot otherwise remove an existing memory stick and replace with the new one.

If you intend to add additional memory to your existing configuration then make sure the new ram memory is of equal specification in size and performance.
